Brent crude oil price hits $108

Pars Today- Following reports of attacks on Saudi Arabia and the Strait of Hormuz, the price of Brent crude jumped by $3 to reach $108 a barrel.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, oil prices rose by more than $3 at the start of Monday’s trading following new attacks on Saudi Arabia and vessels in the Persian Gulf region on Sunday.

Reuters added that by 22:14 GMT on Sunday, Brent crude futures had risen by $3.62, or 3.46%, to $108.23 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also rose by $3.15, or 3.15%, to trade at $103.20 a barrel.
