Pars Today – The World Economic Forum predicts that the global economy will lose 92 million jobs by 2030.

Experts believe that most future jobs will require skills combining engineering, data analysis and natural sciences.

According to Pars Today, citing TV BRICS, the World Economic Forum predicts that while 92 million jobs will disappear from the global economy by 2030, 170 million new positions will be created. According to the forum, 39 percent of key skills will become obsolete by 2030.

According to the World Economic Forum's report, the five sectors expected to generate the largest increases in employment by 2030 are technology and digital transformation, with 35 million jobs; green energy, with 28 million; healthcare, with 24 million; education and workforce development, with 18 million; and infrastructure and mobility, with 15 million.

It should be noted that the BRICS member countries, with a combined population of 3.9 billion, are also part of this transformation. These countries must align their national education strategies with the future dynamics of the global labor market rather than current conditions.

The countries in this group have diverse scientific traditions, resources and industrial capabilities. Bringing them together through academic networks could help create not only a system for training specialists but also a mechanism for generating knowledge, technologies and innovation.
