  • Muslims, an effective and constructive power in British politics

Pars Today - The head of the Islamic Human Rights Commission in London has referred to Muslims as an effective power in British politics.

The history of Muslims in Britain dates back to over a century ago, and currently, the Muslim population in the country is approximately four million, according to figures and statistics.

According to Pars Today, Masoud Shajareh, the head of the Islamic Human Rights Commission in London, pointed to the impact of Muslim votes on the outcome of the recent general elections in Britain, saying: "This capacity should be organized to have the maximum impact as an effective power in British politics."

He added: "The elimination of some Labour Party representatives due to Muslim dissatisfaction in the recent elections has opened a new chapter in British politics."

The head of the Islamic Human Rights Commission in London also emphasized the establishment of organizations like the Muslim Council of Britain, saying: "Based on this, Islamic communities can determine their priorities within a specific framework and present them to society."

The Labour Party won the general election on July 4 with an overwhelming majority of seats in the House of Commons, taking control of the government for the next five years. The party won the election despite people's dissatisfaction with the economic situation, high prices, support for the Zionist regime, and not necessarily due to support for the Labour Party's policies, marking the end of 14 years of Conservative rule.
