Establishment of New Civilization in Second Phase of Islamic Revolution (2)

US enmity toward the Iranian nation has entered a new phase in the beginning of the 5th decade of the post-revolution era. To this end, the US administration has staged an organized propaganda campaign against the sacred Islamic system, which pursues three key goals, namely: obstructing the progress of, and isolating Iran in the region; economic siege of Islamic Iran; and causing security challenges, and posing military threats against Iran.

Now, the question which springs to mind is that forty years from the victory of Islamic Revolution, after putting behind numerous phases, and sensitive and historical ups and downs in the post-revolution era, why have the hostilities and conspiracies of the US continued to this day?

In response to this question, it should be said that the sacred Islamic establishment maintains unique and important features in relation to revolutionary thoughts, culture, and foundations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran seeks solidarity, development, administration of justice, and campaigns against injustice, and has stood firmly by its ideals and principles throughout the years.

The Islamic Revolution, upon heralding campaign against Global Arrogance, challenged the bullying powers, while presenting the idea of unity as a strategy for maintenance of the might of Islamic world against Global Arrogance.

One of the anti-war movement leaders in the US, and editor-in-chief of the Virginia Defender Publication, refers to the accomplishments of Iran's Islamic Revolution, noting: The Islamic Revolution led to a major development in West and South Asia. Iran under the rule of Mohamad Reza Shah, who was a US stooge, was under the control of the West. Iran's oil resources were extracted and monopolized by foreign companies, and the US embassy in Tehran was used as a base for espionage operations.

Upon the victory of Islamic Revolution, which cut the hands of the US from Iran's resources, Islamic Iran turned into a role model for the oppressed and downtrodden people across the world. Hence, the US continued its hostility and animosity against the Iranian nation, such as US unwavering support for MKO terrorist outfit, imposition of illegal sanctions, and provocation of Saddam's regime to stage a war against Islamic Iran.

Nonetheless, the Islamic Revolution, and sacred Islamic establishment, upon reliance on its inner strength, stood up against these hostile currents, and has currently started its 5^th decade of existence.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution, in a statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution, noted: "Among the oppressed nations, only a few stage revolutions, and among the nations which have staged revolutions and uprisings, a few have continued to safeguard their revolutionary ideals. However, the glorious Islamic Revolution of the Iranian nation, which is the largest and most popular revolution of the contemporary era, is the only revolution which has reached its honorable 40^th anniversary, without the betrayal of its ideals, and has protected its honor and originality of its mottos, in the face of all apparently irresistible temptations, while currently entering its second phase of self-growth, community- and civilization-development."

As the Leader of Islamic Revolution pointed out in the statement, marking the 40^th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution; the Islamic Revolution and grand Iranian nation have not retreated an iota from their revolutionary ideals.

In other words, the second phase of the Islamic Revolution is the movement toward the attainment of future goals. Today, the Iranian nation should be alert and vigilant toward challenges, and conspiracies against the Islamic Revolution. Based on this outlook, the second phase of the Islamic Revolution is a movement in line with the ideals of Islamic Revolution in accordance with the valuable experiences of the past forty years; and vigilance toward the current developments, and hurdles ahead.

The Islamic Revolution emerged victorious upon the relentless support of the entire Iranian nation for administration of justice, and achievement of independence and freedom. Hence, the ideals of Islamic Revolution cannot have temporal and spatial limitations. Therefore, in the second phase of the Islamic Revolution, commitment toward the ideals of Islamic Revolution should be safeguarded, and the gained experiences should be put to use to further accomplish the elevated and global goals of the Islamic Revolution.

The enemies of the sacred Islamic system know that in order to somehow break the Islamic resistance, and to remove the barriers to expansionist policies of the US and Zionist regime, they should stir discord within the region and target Islamic principles and Islamic awakening.

Currently, the US pursues satanic goals and stirs seditious plots. The US main policy is warmongering within the region, with the intention of pitting Muslims against each other.

Undoubtedly, what we have witnessed in recent years in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, and Yemen, have been part of the US seditions and conspiracies.

Today, the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and Iranian nation have staged a futile bid to somehow stir despair and to harm revolutionary dynamism of Islamic Iran. Identifying and foiling this conspiracy of the Western propaganda campaign is undoubtedly a major responsibility in the righteous path of the second phase of the Islamic Revolution.
