The US “an administration of criminals and murderers”
It is now exactly thirty years since the US act of state terrorism against Iran in deliberately downing the regular 4-days a week Iran Air Flight 655 from Bandar Abbas to Dubai and killing all 300 passengers and crew on board. It was, and remains, an unpardonable crime in the long list of crimes against humanity of successive US administrations.
Now we have an exclusive article in this regard as follows:
On July 3, 1988, when the Islamic Republic of Iran and the civilized world were plunged into deep shock at the state terrorism of the US in shooting down Iran Air Flight 655 and killing all 300 persons on board including 66 children, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his message of condolences to the aggrieved Iranian people, as President of the Nation, had called Ronald Reagan and his team as “an administration of criminals and murderers”.
It was an apt description of not only the then Republican regime of the US, but fits all administrations, irrespective of party affiliations, that have taken their turn at the White House, at least since Washington’s entry into World War 2, to commit the most horrible crimes in history against humanity all over the globe.
We need not go into details about the criminal atomic bombing of the unsuspecting Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the US when the World War 2 was almost over, nor the bloody military coup in Tehran to oust the elected government of Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mosaddeq and neither the systematic massacre of the Vietnamese people.
The ongoing tragedies being inflicted on the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, and the eastern region of Arabia, either directly by Uncle Sam or through its murderous agents, the Takfiris and the Wahhabis are also outside the scope of our brief radio programme, which is our yearly homage to the martyrs of the Airbus300, whose blood will always remain fresh.
Today, we are commemorating the 30th anniversary of the men, women, and children who were sent to a watery grave by the cowardly Captain Will Rogers of the USS Vincennes who was decorated by the White House for his dastardly act.
Today, as we throw flowers off Hengam Island in the Strait of Hormuz, we are not just recalling Ayatollah Khamenei’s apt description of the US as “administration of criminals and murderers”, but also the prophetic phrase of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) in branding Uncle Sam as the “Great Satan”.
These expressions were not emotional outbursts by these two gifted personalities known for their patience, piety, prudence, political acumen, and perfect piloting of the ship of the Islamic Republic through the stormy seas of American plots.
As a matter of fact, these statements were expressions of a deep analysis by Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei of the evil nature of the various US regimes, whether Democrat or Republican, whose plots against Islamic have been defeated over the past 40 years, thanks to the Grace of God Almighty,.
Thanks to the divinely-inspired insight of the people of Iran, all current and future stratagems of the Great Satan and its devilish agents will be foiled until the innocent blood of the passengers of Flight 655 is fully avenged.
No matter of hypocrisy can whitewash US crimes, including the downing of the regular 4-days-a-week Bandar Abbas-Dubai flight that was cruising in its commercial corridor, Amber 59, a 32 km-wide lane.
At 10:17 hours Iranian time on July 3, the Airbus, manned by Captain Mohsen Rezaian, a veteran pilot with 7,000 hours of flight time, took off half an hour late and was in the process of ascending the 14,000 feet altitude for the 28-minute flight, when Its journey was cut short on the orders of Will Rogers, who had deliberately entered Iranian territorial waters in the Persian Gulf and was lying in ambush for the “kill”.
David Carlson, who at the time was the commander of a nearby US vessel, later wrote in the US Naval Proceedings that he “wondered aloud in disbelief” as the Vincennes announced its intentions to attack what was clearly a civilian aircraft.
According to a skipper of the frigate USS Sides, which monitored the Iranian passenger plane’s downing, Rogers probably had orders from the top to test the viability of the newly-installed Aegis system.
In other words, it was similar to the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which was a field test against real human and urban targets to determine the depth of destruction, and the proliferation of atomic radiation in the soil and water resources of Japan, as well as its genetic effects on the future generation.
If not, George H.W. Bush, US Vice President would not have said during a presidential campaign on August 2, 1988: “I will never apologize for the United States – I don’t care what the facts are…”
It can well be said: US thy name is terrorist.
Today with the quixotic Donald Trump and his equally idiotic team of public enemies of humanity in power in Washington, the mist has been cleared, especially for those naïve and simple-minded politicians that had wrongly thought deals could be worked out with the US on the basis of mutual respect.
The reality is that, it is against the satanic nature of the US regime not to commit crimes against humanity, as is evident by current American efforts to destabilize the world order by withdrawing from the 7-nation international accord on Iran’s peaceful nuclear programme, illegally entering Syria in support of terrorists, milking the Wahhabis to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars for supply of weapons of mass destruction in order to worsen the plight of the people of Yemen, Bahrain and Arabia proper, dancing with the despicable Zionists by shifting the US embassy to the occupied Islamic city of Bayt al-Moqaddas, and last but not the least thundering threats against the Islamic Republic on almost a daily basis in fear of Iran’s selfless role in restoring peace and tranquility to the region.
The conscious Iranian nation, while praying for the souls of the passengers of Flight 655, renew their promise to the victims, never to trust the criminal and murderous US, which had backed Baghdad’s bloodthirsty dictator of the repressive Ba’th minority regime, Saddam, in his 8-year war against the Islamic Republic on the assumption that coupled with the MKO outfit’s terrorist bomb blasts to indiscriminately kill Iranian officials and the public, the dynamic Qur’an-based system of popular religious rule would collapse.
The anniversary of the downing of the Iran Air passenger plan makes Iran and the Iranian people more determined to defeat all American plots, while continuing their efforts to upgrade the nation’s defensive capabilities with state-of-the-art technology, and at the same time, helping the oppressed peoples of the region to thwart the satanic designs of the US and its devilish agents.
