You may have heard of Horr ibn Yazid Riyahi. He was the man who blocked the way to Imam Hussein (PBUH) and forced the Imam and his caravan to encamp in the desert of Karbala. If Horr had not done this, the event of Ashura might have occurred in a different way and the family and relatives of Imam Hussein might have not been captivated.
