The world before the emergence of Islam was apparently a living world but it was dead in essence as it was devoid of any humanity and virtue. There ruled only oppression, injustice, discrimination and cruelty. The light of the last Prophet of God shone in such a decadent world and breathed a new spirit in the body of humanity.
