Nobody likes America these days in particular

There can be no denial that over the last couple of years, anti-American sentiment across the globe has been on the rise.

And even though Western corporate media sources are trying to push the blame on Russian journalists, they alone could hardly ever achieve such an effect. Today a typical list of charges against the US includes its invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, and also includes charges that Washington has been sponsoring terrorists as well as exporting weapons to the countries sponsoring terrorists. The US presidential campaign, riddled with scandals and delusional statements, has clearly demonstrated that something fundamental has gone wrong with the so-called “American style-democracy.”

As it’s been noted by The American Spectator, voters these days see no equality before the law in America. What we’ve witnessed in recent years is incompatible, at least, with the values of the Founding Fathers who promoted the idea of inalienable rights. The backlash among voters has been illustrated during this presidential election. There is growing resentment of the “political class,” and an increased distrust - and even fear – of government. Unfortunately, there appears to be ample justification for this feeling. Fear of corruption in government far outpaced fears of terrorism, financial insecurity, and even illness or death of a loved one. Many Americans now see government not as the keepers of justice and peace, not as servants of the people, but as a corrupt entity and menace.
Such frustration is further aggravated by the dissatisfaction of 41% of the US population with the way the Obama administration is addressing the most pressing problems of the population, as it has been shown by the latest Gallup poll. In addition, growing anti-American sentiments in the regions affected by Washington’s aggressive policies, in particular in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, resulted in nearly universal hatred of the United States even where people originally had sympathy towards Washington in one way or another. A vivid example of this development is Ukraine, where the White House has been interfering in line with its own vested interests since 2014 as if it were an additional US state, trying to make all the important decisions regarding this nation’s fate.

The international human rights organization known as Human Rights Action has recently published a report that displayed migration numbers that shocked Kiev. Since the beginning of this year, more than three million Ukrainian citizens have moved to Russia. The vast majority of those fleeing their homeland are migrant workers wishing to obtain a work permission in Russia. Experts predict that by the middle of 2017 the number of people leaving Ukraine would increase by at least 50%.

However, those leaving Ukraine are not just migrant workers. These people have been disillusioned by the West and are willing to do all kind of “work” for various extremist and terrorist organizations for even moderate pay. These militants are now capable of launching all sorts of terrorist attacks both in the US and in Europe. They won’t find it difficult to get their hands on all sorts of weapons either, as it has been reported by various Western media sources, including Reuters. Over the past year, the Internet has been filled with reports that the terrorist group of ISIS has been infiltrating the territory of Ukraine, where terrorist groups have been establishing training camps, while recruiting new members. Regarding the situation in Ukraine, there is fear of attempts to establish a new wing of ISIS close to Russia borders; especially considering Moscow's role in destroying ISIS positions in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government. There have been talks of revenge from these terrorists.

Let's have a look at the situation elsewhere, in Afghanistan, a living testament to the US political madness. October 2001 made it into history as clear evidence of the reckless plans of Washington ‘strategists’ for gaining worldwide domination. It is the period when the aggressive invasion of US troops in Afghanistan under the false pretext of revenge for the events of 9/11 began. However, neither then, nor now have been there any evidence that it was Afghanistan and the Taliban that were involved in the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre. Besides, it is reliably known that most of the actual players were Saudi nationals. However, Washington and Riyadh were friends back then, and instead of Saudi Arabia, it was deprived Afghanistan - guilty of nothing - that was thrown under the steamroller of the US-led troops.

Since that time, 15 years of occupation of Afghanistan by the United States and its European accomplices have passed so it is possible to sum up the results already: The destruction of industry, agriculture, and basic social structure. Instead, under the supervision and control of the intruder US generals the poppy fields have really blossomed and drug production has increased more than tenfold. With the help of the US's CIA, this poisonous stream flows extensively into Russia, Europe and America. However, this is of little interest to Washington, which is using the drug sales to fund its occupation forces in Afghanistan.

If the US was promoting that its goal was the removal of the Taliban from power, the fight against terrorism, the destruction of Al-Qaeda, then it should be noted that the Taliban currently controls over ten percent of the population, and a third of the 31 million population lives in areas of military conflict. These are the disappointing results of the 15 years of war in which about 140 thousand US troops and 36,000 troops from other countries fought against the Taliban. Moreover, there is a certain trend that the ISIS has arrived in Afghanistan and in fact opened a ‘new front’ of the global terrorism, in addition to Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. Afghanistan is already turning into the scene of the collision, and sometimes even the alliance of the Taliban with ISIS.

The situation in Afghanistan continues to be catastrophic: 15 years after the USA launched ‘Operation Enduring Freedom’ the country is unable to feed itself. The President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, spoke at the International Donor Conference in Brussels and revealed that every third Afghan man gets less than one and a half US Dollar a day and almost starves, and children have got no physical access to schooling. In today’s Afghanistan, 42% of the population lives below the poverty line, and this problem has deep socio-demographic roots. A significant number of youth do not have access to quality education, and about 7 million young people cannot find a job in their homeland. The problem of unemployment among young people is the most crucial and continues to be the major ‘despair factor’, which is skillfully used by the enemies of Afghanistan to incite the situation and mobilize the youths to join terrorist organizations. 

In addition, there was expected an ‘opium revolution’ in Afghanistan while the US-led NATO troops were there; however, it has led to the situation where a number of rural residents cannot live without money made from ‘narcotics’. The difficult political and military situation in Afghanistan, quite naturally, poses a threat and danger to the border nations. Here, a question comes to the mind: How could the US be accountable for its irreparable wrongdoings?
However, we've kept in mind the rising wave of hatred towards America and the so-called “American style-democracy.”
