The US President Donald Trump has considered himself rightful to comment on the dressing code of women and impose his views on them. The remarks which not only are not based on logic and intellect but are also against any of the accepted principles of human rights documents and are even considered the president’s intervention in the private domain of women.

These days the situation of freedom and basic rights of American people is catastrophic. In a country which masquerades as the flag bearer of human rights and chants slogans of freedom, the dire condition of people and the state of freedom have shocked the world people.

The US is now administered by a president who has come to power not on the basis of people’s votes but with the unjust electoral system. In addition, his racist and discriminatory orders inside the country and threat to war and insecurity in the world have not only ridiculed preliminary human rights but have highly endangered international peace and security.

After Trump’s racial and discriminatory order on banning entry of Muslims into the US merely because of their belief, now it is the women’s turn to be targeted by his insane decisions.

This time the US president Donald Trump has considered himself rightful to comment on women’s dressing code and impose his views on them. His remarks not only are not based on logic and intellect but are in contradiction with all of the accepted principles of human rights. Although these comments by the president of a country, with the most scale of claims of freedom and human rights in the world, are regrettable, it is an indication of Trump’s efforts for returning the US to the era of retrogression.

According to the Universal Human Rights Declaration and other basic human rights documents, every human being enjoys the right of freedom and life in a way that their right of freedom is preserved, but the American women are not qualified anymore even in the way of dressing.

This comes as the choice of dressing is among the most basic rights of humans and there is no discrimination between men and women. But Donald Trump, with a record of discriminatory opinions on women, has infuriated women. By releasing a new report on women’s dressing at workplaces he has provoked the anger of activists of women’s rights and stirred much dispute on social media.

Donald Trump is seeking to impose his personal taste on women. The person who has talked to the internal sources of Trump’s team said: Donald Trump asked all male employees to have a well-dressed appearance at all times. But while men just have to wear a tie and keep their hair tidy, the laws of dressing for the women who work in Trump’s government is a little more complicated. According to this person, Trump likes the women who work for him to wear just like a woman. Even if someone is wearing jeans should be dressed as a tidy woman.

Daily Telegraph in reaction to this comment wrote what does wearing as a woman mean in Trump’s view?

The statement has just been welcomed by Trump’s daughter and wife. Although this support by family members seems natural, the viewpoint of Trump’s daughter and wife proves that they are the women who do not have the right to make decision and have lost their power of free choice.

Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka using the Hashtag “women's work” launched a dress empire on Instagram and published her images wearing administrative shirt and high heel shoes. Trump’s wife Melania Trump published pictures of special administrative coat for women with high heel shoes. Trump’s measure caused reactions on social media.

But American women and human rights activists have got very angry at these uncalculated remarks and they resist against this lawlessness. It looks that the US president is interested in interfering in private issues of his people and wants them to behave as he likes.

But in line with people’s protests to this controversial order, the Hashtag "dress like a woman" quickly spread on Twitter and a lot of people expressed their views on Trump's action. Female firefighters, police, soldiers and surgeons published their photos in uniforms and mocked Trump’s new order. Some others released images of "Serena Williams" American tennis player and even female warrior of Crown and Thrones games with work clothes.

Some of them wrote: Isn’t this the dressing of a woman? A woman in military uniform wrote: I have dressed like a woman. Does Trump like it? I don’t think so.

A large number of the American people by releasing one of their photos on Twitter declared: we know how to dress like a woman. You should know how to behave like a president.

Donald Trump is a billionaire and has come to power through an unjust system. Therefore, he should preserve the presidential dignity and observe axioms of human rights and respect people's rights. Perhaps it is better that Trump once again reads his country’s constitution carefully regarding the rights of nation and the authority and duties of president and then decides on how to behave.

Although the UN, the international organizations, the EU and human rights activists have continuously opposed to the US president’s extremist and illogical viewpoints, it seems that the world community should take serious and firm decisions regarding these acts and remarks. It should be noted that these behaviors should be placed on the agenda of UN Human Rights Council; for, the basic human rights seem to be meaningless to the US president. Although different rights related to environment, peace and development have been placed on the global organizations’ agenda the new US president violates human rights such as freedom and the principle of non-discrimination. This decision has provoked not only the US people’s wrath but all freedom-seekers all over the world for declaring solidarity with this nation.
