    The first phase of expansion of the Chabahar port, in southeast Iran, was inaugurated by the President of Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani on December 3, 2017. Located on the Gulf of Oman, it serves as Iran’s only oceanic harbour and consists of two separate ports named Martyr Kalantari and Marytr Beheshti, each of which have five berths.
