Iranian foreign minister visits Russia

Pars Today - The foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran has departed for Moscow to meet and discuss with senior Russian officials.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, traveled on Thursday at the head of a diplomatic delegation for talks with high-ranking officials in Moscow and to deliver a written message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the president of Russia. The Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei stated to reporters that Araghchi’s pre-planned visit to Moscow is at the invitation of Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, and takes place within the framework of ongoing consultations and discussions between the two countries as strategic partners. /ISNA
