FM’s spokesman: Lifting illegal & cruel sanctions is our top negotiation demand

Pars Today - The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that a technical and expert-level meeting between Iran and the United States will be held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, and Iran’s main demand is the lifting of illegal and cruel sanctions.

Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that Iran’s main demand in any negotiation is the lifting of illegal and cruel sanctions. The sanctions must be lifted in a way that produces tangible and demonstrably effective results, allowing Iran to conduct its economic, commercial, and banking activities normally, and ensuring that past experiences are not repeated. /ISNA
