Russian Duma expresses sympathy for victims of Bandar Abbas explosion

Pars Today -- The head of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, sent a message to the speaker of the Iranian parliament on Sunday, expressing sympathy and offering condolences for those who lost their lives in last Saturday's explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.

The Speaker of the Russian Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, in his message to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament (Majlis), expressed sympathy for those families who had lost their loved ones in this tragic incident and wished swift recuperation for those who had been injured, wishing them a full recovery. Earlier, the Russian President Vladimir Putin had reacted to the deadly incident, a powerful explosion at the Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, expressing his condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation and the Iranian government.
