Message of condolence from Iraq's prime minister following Bandar Abbas incident
Pars Today – In a telephone call with Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian, on Tuesday, Iraq's prime minister expressed his condolences following last Saturday's tragic explosions in the Port of Shahid Rajaee in Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
In his telephone conversation with president Pezeshkian, Iraqi prime minister Mohammad Shia' al-Sudani expressed his condolences for the victims of this tragic explosion, and said Iraq is ready to provide all sorts of medical assistance and medical treatment for all those who were injured in this incident.
The Iraqi prime minister went on to express his sympathy and solidarity for all the families of the victims of this explosion, and beseeched the Almighty to grant health and speedy recuperation for all those who were injured.
On Saturday (26 April), the day of the explosion, prime minister al-Sudani ordered interior minister "Abdul Amir Al Shammari" to immediately send emergency relief and aid to the affected region in southern Iran./ ISNA
