Iran warns against US’s contradictory behaviors

Pars Today - The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while condemning Washington’s new sanctions against Iran, warned on Thursday that “the responsibility for the consequences and destructive effects of US’s contradictory behaviors and provocative statements will rest with the American side.”

Esmaeil Baghaei, while condemning the new US sanctions against individuals and legal entities in Iran and several other countries under the pretext of cooperation with Tehran, and referring to the continuation of Washington’s hostile and illegal policies, considered these cruel sanctions to be in violation of the fundamental principles and rules of international law, including human rights standards. The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry added: “The sanctions that have been imposed against Iran in the past few days are a clear indication of the insistence of American policymakers on breaking the law and violating the rights and interests of other countries.”/ ISNA
