US-Iran nuclear talks scheduled for Saturday postponed

Pars Today - The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced a change in the date for the next (fourth) round of indirect Iran-US talks, which were scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd in Rome.

Esmaeil Baghaei, referring to the announcement by the Omani Foreign Minister, stated that the postponement of the talks was at the suggestion of the Omani side and a further announcement regarding a potential new date will follow. Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on X late Thursday "Together with Omani and US interlocutors, we have decided to postpone the 4th round of talks for logistical and technical reasons." The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson reaffirmed Iran’s resolve to use diplomacy aimed at safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the Iranian people and also to have the existing sanctions and economic pressures that have targeted the human rights and well-being of every single Iranian lifted. /IRIB news agency
