NY Times: Assassinating Hamas leaders does not affect group’s survival
Pars Today - Regarding the martyrdom of senior leaders and commanders of Hamas by the Zionist regime, a US daily emphasized in a report on Thursday that the long-term impact of these assassinations is unclear, as Hamas has remained in place for decades despite the assassination of its senior commanders.
The New York Times wrote: “Hamas has endured the assassination of dozens of its senior leaders for decades and has repeatedly proven that its survival does not depend on any particular individual, and this has been proven once again during this war.” The American newspaper added: “To be more precise, Hamas has become more hardened immediately after the assassination of its leaders, and the group has shown no desire to show weakness, even if sometimes it has become more flexible in ceasefire negotiations a few months later.”/ ISNA
