Iran’s speaker: Islamic dignity requires Muslims’ unity
Pars Today - The speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) emphasized on Thursday evening that today, in order to revive Islam and the dignity of Muslims, we must have unity and a spirit of fighting against injustice. He said that Islam without fighting against injustice has no meaning.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who had traveled to Indonesia to participate in the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), while addressing the Shias of this country at the Islamic Cultural Center in Jakarta, said: “The pure Islam of Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny) teaches us that a society that is silent in the face of oppression and injustice is not a living society, but a dead society. If a Muslim only engages in personal worship and does not pay attention to social responsibilities and justice in society, his religion is not a real religion.”/ IRIB news agency
