Eslami: Iran’s nuclear program is transparent and peaceful

Pars Today –Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami emphasized on Friday night the civilian nature of the country’s nuclear activities. He stated that all capacities, processes, and objectives of Iran’s nuclear program are transparent, peaceful, and fully supervised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

After a meeting with members of the international Pugwash organization, Eslami said that Iran’s adversaries view its nuclear case through a political lens and seek to hinder its development. He criticized portrayals of Iran’s nuclear program—especially uranium enrichment—as potentially militarized, calling such views unprofessional and politically motivated.
