Gharibabadi: Sanctions deprive Iranian people of medical treatment and equipment
Pars Today – The deputy for legal and international affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Tuesday that sanctions have deprived the Iranian people of medical equipment, adding that these sanctions are being implemented in line with the so-called “maximum pressure” policy against Iran.
Speaking at the conference “Unilateral Sanctions, Access to Justice at the National, Regional and International Levels”, Kazem Gharibabadi said: “Sanctions deprive people of the right to life and the right to full life, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is a perfect example of a country whose people have lived under a sanctions regime for decades.” The deputy for legal and international affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these sanctions as being in line with the so-called maximum pressure policy against the Islamic Republic, which has caused people suffering from cancer or other chronic diseases to be unable to receive treatment./ IRNA
