Pezeshkian: Iran-Oman trade volume could reach $20–30 billion
Pars Today – The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran said on Wednesday, during a joint meeting of Iranian and Omani economic actors, that the groundwork for expanded bilateral cooperation in all areas is in place, and the volume of trade between Iran and Oman could reach $20–30 billion.
Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking to Iranian and Omani businesspeople and economic figures, emphasized that the two countries share deep-rooted, friendly relations based on common cultural and religious values. He underlined the need to strengthen trade, banking, and transit ties. Referring to his discussions with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq the previous day and the agreements reached, the Iranian president stressed that what matters most is the establishment of infrastructure to bolster land, sea, and air connectivity between the two countries. /IRIB news agency
