Austrian chargé d'affaires summoned over misleading nuclear report
Pars Today – Following the publication of a misleading report by Austria’s intelligence agency about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, the Austrian chargé d'affaires was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
In the absence of the ambassador, Ms. Michaela Pacher, Chargé d'Affaires at the Austrian Embassy in Tehran was summoned by Director General for Western Europe at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Alireza Molla-Ghadimi to receive Iran’s strong protest.
During the meeting, Molla-Ghadimi dismissed the claims made in Austria’s annual intelligence assessment and stressed that the allegations completely contradict numerous reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He reaffirmed that Iran's nuclear program fully complies with its legal and international obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). /IRIB news agency
