Russia's envoy to UN: Gaza blockade must end
Pars Today – Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations has stressed the need to end violence and lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip, calling the humanitarian situation of Palestinians unacceptable and urging protection of civilians.
Speaking at a UN Security Council session, Vasily Nebenzya emphasized the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and insisted that the Zionist regime must not obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
He also cited recurring reports of Palestinian killings and home demolitions, condemning such actions as unacceptable. Nebenzya voiced concern about the West Bank, noting that the scale of Israeli military operations in the area is increasing, resulting in extensive destruction and deepening the humanitarian crisis for the Palestinian population.
