Araghchi: Iran-Tajikistan commonalities are unparalleled and brotherly
Pars Today – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated on Friday that the unparalleled cultural, civilizational, linguistic, and historical commonalities between Iran and Tajikistan provide a valuable foundation for strengthening fraternal ties and consolidating comprehensive relations between the two nations.
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, in a post on the social media platform Instagram, referenced his recent trip to Tajikistan, writing: "On Wednesday (July 30), during a short visit to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, I held meetings and discussions with Emomali Rahmon, the President of Tajikistan, and Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the country’s Foreign Minister."
He added: "The focus of these talks was the development and deepening of bilateral relations, as well as expanding cooperation in economic, scientific, cultural, and tourism fields."
At the end of his remarks, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized: "The unparalleled cultural, civilizational, linguistic, and historical commonalities between Iran and Tajikistan have created a valuable foundation for strengthening fraternal bonds and consolidating comprehensive relations between the two nations."
