Pars Today – A United Nations spokesperson warned that Israeli regime’s security permits are wasting "precious time" critical for delivering aid, citing significant delays and obstacles in coordinating humanitarian missions in Gaza.

Stephane Dujarric told reporters on Tuesday local time that on Monday (August 11), the UN requested coordination with Israel for 16 missions, including the delivery of food, medical supplies, and fuel through the two operational crossings of Kerem Shalom and Zikim.

The UN spokesperson added: "Efforts to coordinate humanitarian measures are often delayed for hours due to unpredictable permits from Israeli authorities, wasting valuable time."

As Israel’s crimes against Gaza continue, the number of martyrs in the besieged strip has now reached 61,258 since October 7, 2023. UN-affiliated agencies and local organizations warn that the ongoing blockade and obstruction of aid risk mass deaths among Gaza’s children.

Meanwhile, health and living conditions in the strip are rapidly deteriorating, and Gaza’s healthcare system has completely collapsed.
