Larijani: Iran ready to deliver strong response to any Israeli regime attack

Pars Today – On Thursday, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council emphasized that the country is always prepared to respond forcefully to any attack by the Israeli regime, adding: “The Israeli regime will not allow the region to reach stability.”

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ali Larijani stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran maintains brotherly, friendly, strong, and strategic relations with Lebanon and Iraq, engaging in discussions on various shared issues. He noted that a security agreement was signed in Baghdad, whose main focus is achieving security, stability, and calm in both countries — reflecting Iran’s overall approach to regional cooperation.

Larijani added that there are “devils” in politics who may hide behind certain actors to promote biased narratives, but Iran has clearly expressed its views to help reveal the reality.

Referring to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Larijani said that Netanyahu has failed both strategically and tactically in achieving his goals. He further emphasized that Iran has never surrendered and will never do so, and that negotiations are only useful when parties understand that war will not bring them their objectives. “The Americans need to clarify their stance; when they talk about both negotiation and war at the same time, it means they haven’t understood that war is futile,” he added.
