Director-General of the Information Office in Gaza: Palestine is our land, and we will not leave it

Pars Today - The Director-General of the Government Information Office in Gaza described the occupiers' threats of forced displacement as an attempt to justify a new war crime and emphasized: "Palestine is our land, and we will not leave it."  

Ismail Al-Thawabteh, the Director-General of the Government Information Office in Gaza, said on Tuesday: "What the occupiers are claiming about the threats of displacing residents of Gaza City to the south under the pretexts of 'safe transfer' or providing shelter and tents is nothing but an attempt to justify the crime of mass forced displacement as part of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza."  

Al-Thawabteh added: "Talk of shelter and tents is nothing but a deception of public opinion. The occupiers have destroyed homes, hospitals, schools, and infrastructure, prevented hundreds of thousands of families from returning to their areas, imposed a severe blockade on the Gaza Strip, and deprived them of medicine, food, and water in violation of international law." / Al-Alam
