Emergency NATO F-35 flights in Poland

According to NBC News, NATO fighter jets took to the skies on Sunday following extensive Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, with air defense units also placed on high alert.

In a statement, NATO Command said that in response to Russian long-range aerial activity targeting Ukrainian territory, the Polish Air Force and its allies have commenced operations in the country’s airspace.

The report noted that in Russia’s first major airstrike on Ukraine in a month, Kyiv and several other regions were targeted. The attack, which coincided with the conclusion of the United Nations General Assembly week, left at least four dead and more than seventy injured. /Tasnim
