Pars Today – The Director-General of the World Health Organization said that since the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, only eight trucks carrying medical supplies have entered the area.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus added Monday night that since the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza, WHO teams have stepped up their operations in the region.

Ghebreyesus said an emergency medical team was deployed within 24 hours to strengthen surgical and emergency care at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, adding that as people begin to return, more medical teams will be stationed in the city. / IRIB
