Palestinian official condemns global double standards over martyrs

Pars Today – The spokesperson for the Palestinian Relief and Rescue Organization criticized the international community’s double standards regarding the bodies of martyrs buried under the rubble in the Gaza Strip.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Relief and Rescue Organization in Gaza, stated that more than 280 bodies of martyrs have been recovered so far, while around 10,000 remain buried beneath the debris. He noted that the international community is making efforts to retrieve the bodies of Israeli captives, yet continues to ignore the suffering of Palestinian families.

Basal also reported a lack of heavy and advanced equipment for rescue teams and called for an urgent political decision to facilitate the recovery operations. He stressed that a list of urgent needs has been submitted to all international organizations. / IRNA
