Pars Today – The Taliban governments in Afghanistan and Pakistan, after several days of negotiations in Doha, signed a comprehensive agreement to end their border clashes and emphasized resolving issues through diplomacy.

Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesperson for Afghanistan's Taliban, announced that Kabul and Islamabad, through the agreement, committed to a full ceasefire, the cessation of all hostilities, respect for the principle of good neighborliness, resolving all disputes through dialogue, and refraining from supporting each other’s opposition groups.

The talks followed escalating border clashes along the Durand Line and recent airstrikes. Both sides expressed appreciation for the mediation efforts of Qatar and Turkey in facilitating this historic agreement. /ISNA
