Araghchi’s phone conversation with Mahdieh Esfandiari following her release

Pars Today – The Iranian Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation with Mahdieh Esfandiari.

On Thursday, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke by phone with Mahdieh Esfandiari, the Iranian national who had been detained by France, and expressed hope that she would return to the country as soon as possible.

In this conversation, Araghchi stated: “We thank God that you stood firmly by your positions and spoke with strong resolve.”

Yesterday, Esfandiari was released from prison in France under judicial supervision, following a decision by a French judge.
