Emergency UNSC meeting to discuss U.S. attack on Venezuela

Pars Today - Following the U.S. military attack on Venezuela and the detention of its president, the United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Monday.

The UN spokesperson's office announced that the emergency session regarding the U.S. attack on Venezuela will take place on Monday morning, New York time. The meeting is being convened at the request of Venezuela and Colombia, with the support of Russia and China, two permanent members of the council.
Venezuela’s representative at the UN, in an official letter, has described Washington’s actions as aggressive and emphasized Venezuela's right to self-defense.
The U.S. attack on Venezuela and the detention of its president have sparked widespread international reactions, with several countries calling for adherence to the United Nations Charter. /IRNA
