Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the US defiance to extend waivers on nuclear sanctions against Tehran indicates the American officials' bewilderment, adding that their bid to zero Iran's oil exports is doomed to failure.
"After the illegal measures against the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, their attempts to zero down Iran's oil exports is another step which will produce no result and their other undigested words about other countries' nuclear cooperation (with Iran) within the framework of the nuclear deal, including purchase of heavy water or enriched uranium or selling raw materials, are instances of disorderly thoughts," Larijani said, addressing an open session of the parliament in Tehran on Sunday.
He blasted the American officials for their unending irrational remarks, saying that they have resorted to psychological warfare instead of politics and intend to stir international chaos and confusion through consecutive adventures.
Larijani said that Washington is angry at the failure of its plots against Iran and hence resorts to heavy propaganda to create threatening conditions. "Yet, it seems that they do not have any other important tool in their hands" to increase pressures on Iran.
