2019 Volleyball World Cup: Iran 3-2 Argentina

Iran’s National Volleyball Team (Team Melli) have pocketed another victory in the 2019 Volleyball World Cup after edging Argentina in a 5-set thriller.

According to Press TV, Iran’s Team were the better side of the match and won the opening set 27-25.

However, Argentina regrouped and won the next 2 sets 25-23 and 25-19 respectively.

But the Asian powerhouse turned the tables on their opponent in the 4th and outscored them 25-17, and thus the match was sent into a decider.

Iran managed to keep up the momentum there and grab the set 15-10 to register their 4th victory in the event and will next line up against host nation, Japan on Saturday.
