2019 Volleyball World Cup: Japan 3-1 Iran

To volleyball news, Iran’s National Team (Team Melli) have suffered another loss in the 2019 Volleyball World Cup after going down 3-1 at the hands of Asian Rivals, Japan.

According to Press TV, host nation, Japan gave a ruthless performance in the opener, outscoring Iran 25-16. Then Iran’s Team showed some resilience in the 2nd and grabbed it 28-26.

But, that was not enough and the Japanese regrouped and showed no mercy in the 3rd set and took it 25-13 before pocketing the fourth 25-21. With the victory, Japan stand in 4th place while Iran sit 8th. Iran’s Team will next meet Italy on Monday.
