Pezeshkian: Iran's missile operation done to harness Israeli savagery

Pars Today - The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran said during a phone call to the Dutch prime minister that Iran's missile operation was launched to harness the Israeli savagery.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the phone contact of Dick Schoof, the Dutch Prime Minister, considered Israel as the cause of escalation of tensions and instability in the region. According to Pars Today, Pezeshkian, clarifying that Iran, due to hopefulness of the fruitfulness of efforts for ceasefire in Gaza, had first ignored urgent response to the terrorist crime of the Zionist regime and violation of its national sovereignty, said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran's missile attack on the Zionist regime has been carried out exactly on the basis of the clear text of the UN Charter through observing of international rights and only against military goals in order to harness the savagery of this regime and prevent its attempts to expand crimes and attacks to the region."

According to the Iranian president, the Zionist regime assassinated Iran's guest in Tehran with the aim of compensating its failures in Gaza and spread tension and clash in the region, while the Western countries, especially the US, instead of condemning the crimes and terrorist acts of Zionists, continuously call on Iran to keep self-restraint.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Pezeshkian pointed to the Iranian government's policy to expand balanced ties with all countries and said, "The Iranian nation knows better than everyone that the path of development cannot be covered in the circumstances of war, sanction and tension, thus, it never seeks war, clash and tension."
