The 40th-day memorial ceremony for the martyrs of the security incidents
Pars Today – The 40th-day memorial ceremony for the martyrs of the security incidents in February was held at the Tehran Musalla, with widespread and enthusiastic participation from the families of the martyrs and various segments of the Iranian public.
According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, streets leading to the Musalla in Tehran witnessed continuous waves of people gathering to honor the memory of the martyrs, 40 days after the Dey month incidents. The ceremony, held on Tuesday evening in the prayer hall, reflected the loyalty, resilience, and solidarity of the Iranian people with the grieving families.
Eager attendees, carrying Iranian flags, entered the prayer hall in unison and with a strong sense of cohesion. At the entrance, a display board caught attention, where participants had written heartfelt messages. Passionate phrases such as “All these troops have come out of love for the Leader” and “For Iran, to the last breath” adorned the board, reflecting the depth of the people’s devotion to the ideals of the revolution and the martyrs.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Quran and the playing of the Iranian national anthem, after which participants collectively expressed their opposition to hostile global policies with chants of “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.” The arrival of Major General Esmail Qa’ani, commander of the Quds Force, was met with enthusiastic support and cheering from the attendees, adding an indescribable energy to the event.
Among the participants, families of the martyrs held pictures of their lost loved ones, embodying grief, patience, and resilience. The mother of martyr Alireza, holding a photo of her teenage son, spoke of his innocence and referenced the enemy’s attempts to manipulate narratives against Iran: “These days I’ve heard that our enemies claim families of the victims are forced by the government to appear on camera. I tell them I myself was outside during the unrest that night, and I saw with my own eyes that this crime could only have been committed by Iran’s enemies.”
Another mother attending the ceremony spoke about what she described as the malicious plans of enemies to destabilize Iran, saying: “These days, some people outside Iran are sitting back and provoking our youth inside the country to be killed. Let the world see—the real people of our nation are those present here. It’s laughable that some seek help from mercenaries like Trump.”
Another woman at the event, referring to the overt interference of foreign powers in recent unrest, addressed Western intelligence agencies directly: “To Mossad and the CIA, who foolishly entered Iran with child-killing weapons, I say: we will stand by Iran and behind our Leader to the last drop of our blood.”
