Iranian FM travels to Oman

Pars Today – Iran’s foreign minister has arrived in Muscat for talks with Omani officials on arrangements for the administration of the Strait of Hormuz and regional developments.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Muscat on Saturday to hold consultations with Omani officials regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz and ongoing regional developments. He was welcomed by officials from the host country upon his arrival.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei had announced that several rounds of technical meetings concerning the Strait of Hormuz had already been held in both Tehran and Muscat. He stated that Araghchi’s visit is part of the continuation of those consultations and is intended to help facilitate safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
