Pars Today — The President of Iran, criticizing the European Union’s handling of the blatant violations of law by the United States and the Israeli regime, stated: A few European countries have taken a responsible stance regarding the aggression against Iran, while many others have adopted a passive or even biased approach.

According to Pars Today, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, spoke by phone on Thursday.

Pezeshkian, in this conversation, explained the dimensions of the U.S. and Israeli military aggression against Iran. He emphasized that the aggressors, for the second time in the past nine months, attacked Iran in the midst of an ongoing diplomatic process, imposing heavy human and material costs on the Iranian people.

He said: “The destructive consequences of this illegal war are not limited to Iran or the region; the entire world is being forced to bear the cost of the aggressive actions of the United States and Israel.”

The President of Iran added: “The aggressors have targeted international law and the rule of law in the world, and therefore all governments are obligated to respond decisively to this military aggression.”

The President of Finland, expressing concern about the current situation, stressed the necessity of using diplomacy to stop the war and declared his country’s readiness to provide any form of assistance.
