Mohammad‑Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament
Pars Today — The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament stated: We do not believe in separating the field from diplomacy at all; we have only one field, and that is the field of defending the rights of the Iranian people.
According to Pars Today, Mohammad‑Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, wrote in a message marking the 40th day since the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution: Forty days have passed since such a great man is no longer among us. These forty days have been difficult for us in his absence, but the result of his struggle has turned into a period of pride for our beloved Iran.
He continued: The historic retreat of the arrogant U.S. president, the abandonment of the United States’ plan, and the acceptance of the general principles of the Islamic Republic’s ten‑point proposal—where Iran’s rights are explicitly stated—are considered an undeniable victory for Islamic Iran in this civilizational war and will enhance the position of the Islamic Republic in the region and in the emerging new world order.
He added: However, we consider this victory only the first step and an unfinished one. We do not believe in separating the field from diplomacy at all; we have only one field, and that is the field of defending the rights of the Iranian people.
