According to Pars Today, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, the Deputy for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting attended by ambassadors and heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations based in Tehran, referring to Iran’s responsible approach regarding the announcement of a ceasefire and the submission of Iran’s ten-point plan to the Americans, emphasized that it has been agreed Iran’s ten-point plan will be the basis for negotiations.
Takht-Ravanchi stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran has always welcomed diplomacy and dialogue—but not dialogue based on incorrect information aimed at deception and paving the way for another military aggression against Iran. We do not want a ceasefire that allows the aggressor to rearm and launch another attack, and we have clearly told our friends that this situation will not be repeated without guarantees.
