Pars Today – The head of the Organization for the Development and Renovation of Schools in Iran stated that during the third Imposed War, 1,489 schools and educational units in the country were damaged or destroyed due to direct enemy attacks, both partially and completely.

Hamidreza Khan Mohammadi, Deputy Minister and Head of the Organization for Renovation, Development, and Equipment of Schools, said on Sunday that during the Third Imposed War, 1,489 schools and educational units were impacted by direct enemy assaults, with 969 of those units having returned to the educational cycle after reconstruction.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Khan Mohammadi noted that the American-Israeli attacks caused damage to 153 areas across 22 provinces of Iran, affecting 1,214 schools and 275 educational spaces (such as sports halls, administrative offices, cultural centers, and camps) with complete and partial damage.

He added that the reconstruction process has begun with the participation of community groups, parents, school staff, and support from benefactors, and so far, 969 educational units (with 5% to 30% damage) have been renovated and revitalized with the help of about 154 jihadist groups.

He mentioned the "Angels of Minab" campaign, stating that two schools in the city of Minab in southern Iran were destroyed during the Third Imposed War, and considering the educational space availability in this area, they decided to build two 12-classroom schools in collaboration with the community and benefactors.
