Gharibabadi: Iran pursues logic of peace-seeking with strength

Pars Today – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs wrote on his X account that Iran pursues the logic of peace-seeking alongside strength.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, wrote in a post on the social media platform X on Sunday:

“May 24, the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, is a reminder of an enduring truth in Iran’s history; a truth that is also connected to the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter: a nation that becomes the victim of aggression and occupation possesses the inherent right of legitimate defense to protect its land, independence, and dignity.”

He added in the post: “Khorramshahr became a symbol of the victory of national will over an aggression that began with the calculations of the powers supporting the aggressor, but ultimately failed in the face of the faith, resistance, and self-reliance of the great Iranian nation.”

Gharibabadi wrote: “Today, Iran follows the same logic: peace-seeking alongside strength, diplomacy alongside dignity, and firm defense of the territorial integrity, independence, and rights of our people and our beloved country, Iran.”
