Qalibaf: Iran–Lebanon bond is unbreakable; we will stand against Zionist regime

The Speaker of Iran's Parliament and the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament
Pars Today – The Speaker of Iran's Parliament, in a conversation with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, described the ties between the two countries as unbreakable and stressed that if the crimes continue, "we will not only halt the course of negotiations, but we will also stand against the Zionist regime."
According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of Iran's Parliament, said in a telephone conversation with Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament: "Hezbollah and the Amal Movement are today defending both their homeland and the Islamic Ummah. In this regard, the bond between Iran and Lebanon is unbreakable, and your lives and ours are one."
Qalibaf added: "Should an agreement be reached to end the war between Iran and the United States, it will include a halt to attacks on all fronts, especially in Lebanon."
Qalibaf emphasized: “Over the past two days, we have been seriously pursuing a halt to Israel’s attacks. If these crimes continue, we will not only suspend the course of negotiations, but we will also stand against the Zionist regime. We are determined to ensure that a ceasefire is established throughout Lebanon, particularly in the south of the country.”
Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, for his part, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to stop what he described as the crimes of the Zionist regime, saying: “Lebanon will never forget Iran’s positive positions during this sensitive period.”
