Iran’s Armed Forces: We will not let blood of Martyr Imam be in vain

Pars Today – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran emphasized in a statement that it will not allow the blood of the “martyr Imam of the Ummah” and other martyrs to be wasted.

According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran and the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), the founder of the Islamic Revolution, and the uprising of June 5 (15 Khordad).

The statement reads:

“The General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, while commemorating the memory of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution and the revered martyrs, consider the coincidence of the anniversary of the passing of the late Imam and the uprising of 15 Khordad with the auspicious Eid al-Ghadir as a blessed sign of the inseparable link between the principles of Imamate and the doctrine of absolute guardianship of the jurist in the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The statement continues:

“The noble and resilient people of Iran, on the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), experience both the loss of the great ‘martyr leader’ and their oppressed martyrs, alongside the deep connection between faith, insight, and steadfastness in confronting global arrogance. The uprising of 15 Khordad marked the beginning of a movement that led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the martyred Imam, after the Great Ruhollah, guided the ship of salvation of the Ummah toward the peaks of dignity. Today as well, the Iranian nation—under the guidance of its wise and farsighted Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei—continues to be the standard-bearer of resistance and the defense of truth, and will continue along this luminous path until final victory.”

The statement added:

“The recent warmongering by the United States and the Zionist regime has exposed the true face of the false claimants of human rights to the world, one example of their crimes being the martyrdom of 168 innocent and oppressed children at a school in Minab, among hundreds of their atrocities. The Iranian nation will not retreat in the face of threats and aggression; rather, with unity and faith, it will continue its path of dignity more than ever.”

It further stated:

“The powerful, courageous, and proud Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in step with the nation and under the wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and with full strength, will defend the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the territorial integrity of the proud and victorious Iran to their last breath, and will not allow the enemy to achieve its evil ambitions or to trample the blood of the martyred Imam of the Ummah and other revered martyrs. The American and Zionist enemies will have no choice but to surrender in the face of the divine will of the armed forces and the vigilant and aware nation.”
