Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) blasted US President Donald Trump for his recent remarks against Iran, stressing that his silence on using the military option shows that Washington has understood Iran's might and power.

"Trump's remarks, which seemed threatening on the surface, admitted emergence of an uncontrollable power," Brigadier General Hossein Salami said, addressing a ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday.

He said Trump's comments were rich with a literature full of US defeats, failure and inability, "and unlike the past, the new US president didn’t speak of the military option against Iran because Iran's power is credible and the enemy has realized and accepted Iran's power".
