Pars Today- Defense of the oppressed is a rational and natural issue which has been emphasized in Islamic narrations.

An oppressed person is the one who has been treated unjustly and whose right has been violated. Many hadiths from the Prophet of Islam and his progeny (Ahl al-Bayt) stress aiding the oppressed. Pars Today has addressed the issue briefly.

"Take refuge with God from oppressing or being oppressed."

Imam Ali (AS), the testamentary legatee of the Prophet, says,

"Be always the enemy of the oppressor and helper of the oppressed."

"The best justice is to help an oppressed person."

  1. Best ruler

Imam Ali (AS) says,

"The best ruler is the one who annihilates oppression and revives justice."

  1. Refusing to help oppressor

Imam Sajjad (As), son of Imam Hossein (AS), says,

"O God! I take refuge with You… from helping an oppressor or leaving an oppressed or bereaved person helpless or ask what is not our right."

Imam Baqer (AS) says,
