Battlefield sources disclosed that the Daesh terrorist group has transferred its important documents, including those related to its own militants and the terrorist group's programs, from Iraq's Mosul to Syria's Raqqa.
"The Daesh has transferred its computer systems and important documents, including the terrorist group's future plans and programs from Mosul in Iraq to Raqqa in Syria," the Arabic-language media outlets quoted an unnamed military source as saying on Tuesday.
The source noted that the Daesh terrorist group has moved its military bases to secret places after several of its commanders were killed in Mosul.
In a relevant development on Monday, the Daesh terrorist group arrested a large number of tribal leaders in Mosul for fear of facing imminent collapse in the capital of Nineveh Province.
"Tens of tribal leaders who had previously voiced allegiance to the Daesh have been arrested by the terrorist group," the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed local source as saying on Monday.
He said that last Wednesday, the Daesh attacked the families of some Iraqi tribal leaders in southeastern Mosul and arrested them and their sons.
The source went on to say that the Takfiri terrorist group plans to arrest anyone who it deems as a threat.
