Pars Today - The Zionist regime has destroyed more than 200 ancient monuments in the Gaza Strip since the start of its latest attacks.

The Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip have caused significant damage to the region's cultural heritage. According to Pars Today, these ancient monuments include churches, mosques, museums, and historical buildings.

Some of the ancient and archaeological sites destroyed by Israel date back to the Phoenician and Roman periods. Others are between 800 and 1,400 years old.

One of the mosques destroyed by the Zionist regime is the "Kabir Al-Omari" mosque, which was built 1,400 years ago.

According to Palestinian officials in Gaza, the Byzantine Church in Jabalia, the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrius, and the Byzantine cemetery are among several historical sites and places of worship that have been damaged or destroyed by the Israeli regime.

In response to the destruction of ancient monuments in the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" stated that these actions by the Zionist regime are in violation of international charters that prohibit the destruction of places of worship and historical sites.

The Israeli regime, with the full support of Western countries, has launched a new wave of massacres against the defenseless and oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank since October 7, 2023.

According to the latest reports, more than 41,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 94,000 injured in the Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza.

The Zionist regime was created in 1917 with the design of British colonialism and through the immigration of Jews from various countries to Palestinian territory, and its existence was declared in 1948. Since then, various plans for mass killings have been carried out to genocide the Palestinian people and occupy their entire territory.

Several countries, led by the Islamic Republic of Iran, are strong supporters of the dissolution of the Israeli colonial regime and the return of Jews to their original countries.
